Overview

Create and schedule a full cycle count to manage all items in a specific inventory location at a selected cadence. It also helps you to ensure that all items have been counted within the chosen time frame.

Create and schedule a full cycle count

  1. Go to the navigation bar and click Inventory.

  2. In the side menu, click Inventory Counts.

  3. On the Inventory Counts screen that opens, click the Expandicon, and then select Schedule Recurring Counts.A cursor selecting Schedule Recurring Counts.

  4. On the Select Count Type screen that opens, click Create and Schedule Full Cycle Count, and then click Next.A cursor clicking Create and Schedule Full Cycle Count, and then clicking Next.The Schedule Full Cycle Count screen opens.

  5. From the list, select the inventory location you want, and then click NextA cursor clicking Next on the Full Cycle Count screen.

    Tip: To select all items that are listed on the screen, select the checkbox at the top of the list next to the Item Name heading. To view more than 10 items on the screen, go to the bottom of the item list and select a number from the items per page dropdown.

  6. On the Select Count Frequency and Sort Items screen that opens, go to the Count Details section, and enter the following details.

    1. End Date: Enter the date by which you or your employees want to stop scheduling the full cycle count.

    2. Cadence: Select how frequently you would like to perform this count from the dropdown.Image showing the Count Details section.

  7. When finished, click Create Recurring Count.

To view and manage the recurring count you scheduled, go to Settings > Inventory > Recurring Inventory Counts. For more information, see Manage recurring inventory counts. To complete the count, see Complete inventory counts.
