#### Who uses this feature

- Office employees
- This feature is available in the ServiceTitan Works package.

## Things to know

- To create or edit a dashboard module, make sure you have the correct [dashboard permissions](/v1/docs/manage-global-dashboard-permissions) enabled. Contact your account administrator for help.
- You build report modules based on custom reports that you have access to. Make sure the report creator has [shared it](/v1/docs/create-custom-reports#add-sharing-settings) with you and that you have the correct [reporting permissions](/v1/docs/set-reporting-permissions). Or you can [create a custom report](/v1/docs/create-custom-reports).
  - You can also add [multi-template reports](/v1/docs/create-and-run-multi-template-reports) as a report module on custom dashboards.
- After you build a report module based on a custom report, edits made to the custom report *do not* affect your module.
- If you edit a report module, it does not affect the report it’s based on.
