# Create a c/o or Care Of field on print invoices

If you want to add a Care Of or c/o field that appears on print invoices, you can create one by adding a custom field that lives on the customer record.

## Things to know

- The c/o field is a recommended solution if you want to show your customers’ phone numbers on your invoice print views.

## Create a custom c/o field

1. In the navigation bar, go to **Settings**>**Operations**>**Custom Fields**.
2. Click **Add**.
3. On the *Create New Custom Field* page, enter either *c/o*or *C/O*in the **Name** field.
4. Under the *Where It Appears* section, select **Customer Record**.
5. Make sure *Text*is selected in the **Type**dropdown and click **Save**.

> [!NOTE]
> **Note:** The field must be named either **c/o** or**C/O**. Make sure there aren’t any extra spaces and characters. Otherwise, the field won’t appear on the invoice print view.

## Fill in c/o field on the customer record

1. On the*Search* page, locate the customer.
2. Click the **Edit ![](https://cdn.document360.io/961862ab-d0f2-4d91-bb62-a62ee8184eff/Images/Documentation/icon-edit.png)**.
3. On the *Edit Customer* page, find the **c/o** field and type in the customer’s information.
4. Click **Save**.
5. To confirm the **c/o**field is saved, go to the customer’s invoice page and click the printer icon to see the invoice print view.
