## Things to know

- Fields that show a cost round to 2 decimal places when displaying the cost. If the full cost requires more than 2 decimal places, you see **More ![](https://cdn.document360.io/961862ab-d0f2-4d91-bb62-a62ee8184eff/Images/Documentation/icon-more-horiz.png)** next to the field. This indicates that more precise costing is being used. Hover over **More ![](https://cdn.document360.io/961862ab-d0f2-4d91-bb62-a62ee8184eff/Images/Documentation/icon-more-horiz.png)** to see the full, untruncated cost. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/961862ab-d0f2-4d91-bb62-a62ee8184eff/Images/Documentation/understand-costing-precision-image-74cyjbbz.png)
- Trailing zeroes are always truncated. For example, if the cost is 45.3400000, you see 45.34 in ServiceTitan.
- Only the fields specified in [Understand costing precision fields](/v1/docs/costing-precision#understand-costing-precision-fields) support costing precision. The rest only support 2 decimal places.
- If a cost has more than ten digits after the tenth decimal place, the cost is rounded to the tenth digit.
- Intacct is able to support up to ten decimals of precision for unit costs. Transactions exported to Intacct will carry the same precision used within ServiceTitan.
- QuickBooks Desktop is able to support up to 4 decimals of precision for unit costs. Transactions exported to QuickBooks Desktop will be rounded to 4 decimals if necessary. The original precision will be preserved within ServiceTitan.
