What you're seeing

You have a fulfilled requisition and you're trying to finalize it, but the option to complete it isn't where you expect. On the fulfilled page you don't see a button to complete the requisition, so you can't move the requisitioned items onto the job invoice or return the unused ones.

Why this happens

Completing a requisition is the final step of the requisition workflow, and today it happens through Invoice Closeout on the job invoice, not through a separate button on the fulfilled page. The option is commonly unavailable for one of these reasons:

There are 2 common reasons.

Reason 1

The job isn't completed yet.

Invoice Closeout is a completion-time step.

Reason 2

The feature isn't set up for your tenant, so the closeout step doesn't appear.

Account configuration is required to use invoice closeout. Contact Technical Support for details.

Before you start

  • The job must be completed before you can complete the requisition through Invoice Closeout.

  • You need permission to perform Invoice Closeout and to edit the job invoice. If you don't have it, contact your administrator.

  • Invoice closeout requires account configuration. If the closeout option is missing entirely, contact your administrator or Technical Support to confirm it's set up.

How to fix it

Run these checks in order. Most issues are resolved by Check 1.

1Complete the requisition through Invoice Closeout

  1. Confirm the job is completed. If it isn't, complete the job first.

  2. Open the job invoice for which you created the requisition.

  3. Click Invoice Closeout.

  4. Review the list of requisitioned items. These are the items to add to the job invoice or return.

  5. For each item, set the Qty to Add to put it on the invoice, or the Qty to Return to send it back to inventory or the vendor.

  6. Confirm to complete the closeout.

✓ Done · The requisitioned items are added to the job invoice (or returned), and the requisition is completed.

2If there's no Invoice Closeout option at all, confirm the feature is set up

  1. Invoice closeout requires account configuration. If the option doesn't appear on a completed job with a requisition, it may not be set up for your tenant.

  2. Contact your administrator or Technical Support to confirm it's enabled.

✓ Done · Once the feature is set up, the Invoice Closeout option appears on completed jobs with requisitions.
