# How to Cancel a Refund and Make it an Available Credit for the Customer

## Problem

The customer wants to cancel a refund and apply it as an available credit for a future job.

## Solution

If the invoice, payment, and refund have not yet been exported, you can [delete the refund](/v1/docs/edit-or-delete-a-refund).

If the invoice, payment, and refund have already been exported and your main goal is to add credit to the customer profile, you can go to the customer profile and [add a payment](/v1/docs/collect-a-payment) for the amount of the credit.
