Problem
You need to group multiple service areas into a single, one-time setup for customer audiences in Marketing Pro. You can do this by creating an audience that includes your service areas.
Solution
When creating an audience, you can use the inclusion and exclusion criteria to target your service areas. For example, you can target specific customer ZIP codes, location ZIP codes, zones, location tags, and cities. You can then reuse that audience for as many marketing campaigns as needed.
For a full list of inclusion and exclusion criteria, see Create audiences.
Create an audience to target your service areas
Go to the navigation bar and click Marketing.
In the side menu, click Audiences.
Select Create new.
Note: You can click More > Edit to edit an existing audience if you don't want to create a new one.
Select Retain Customers or Acquire New Customers as your audience goal.
Enter a name for the audience and click Begin.
For acquisition audiences only, select the service areas you want the audience to target. You can only select up to 5 per audience.
Add inclusion criteria to target your specific service areas. For example, you can use the Location Zip Code criteria to target specific zip codes.
Add any additional inclusion or exclusion criteria as needed.
When finished, click Continue to return to the Audiences screen. Your changes save automatically.
By following these steps, you can create an audience that targets your service areas. The audience can be used for as many marketing campaigns as needed, preventing you from having to enter the service areas each time.
Tip: If you need an audience that targets the same service areas but for a different purpose, you can clone that audience and make changes to it as needed. This saves you from having to add the service areas again.
