Problem
Currently, ServiceTitan does not have a feature to send alerts when a job is put on hold. Instead, you can create a form that employees complete when a job is put on hold. You can then add an alert that lets you know anytime that form is completed. This allows you to automate alerts for when jobs are put on hold.
Solution
Even though there are no automatic alerts for when a job is put on hold, you can still receive alerts using forms. First, create a form that employees can fill out when a job is put on hold. Then, create an alert to notify you whenever that form is completed.
Create a form for jobs put on hold
Go to the navigation bar and click Settings
.In the side panel, click Operations > Forms.
Click + Add Form.
Set up the form you want employees to complete when a job is placed on hold. For more, see Create a form in ServiceTitan.
When finished, click Save.
Create an alert for when that form is completed
Go to the navigation bar and click Settings
.In the side panel, click Integrations > Alerts.
In the Alerts section that opens, click Add to add a new alert.
In the Type dropdown, select Completed Form.
Choose a Delivery Method and Recipients for the alert.
In the Form dropdown, select the form you created for jobs put on hold.
When finished, click Save.
Now that your form and alert are set up, you can train your employees to complete this form whenever a job is put on hold. By doing so, alerts will be sent automatically whenever a job is put on hold.
