--- title: "Book multi-day jobs" slug: "book-multi-day-jobs" updated: 2026-05-22T21:17:59Z published: 2026-05-22T21:17:59Z --- > ## Documentation Index > Fetch the complete documentation index at: https://help.servicetitan.com/llms.txt > Use this file to discover all available pages before exploring further. # Book multi-day jobs ## Overview To book multi-day jobs, we recommend that you book a job and add an appointment for each day of work, or create a project and book a separate job for each day of work. --- ### #### Who uses this feature - Technicians and office employees ## ## Add an appointment for each day of work Before you start, [book a job](/v1/docs/book-a-job) or [search for an existing job](/v1/docs/use-search-in-servicetitan#search-for-records) to which you want to add additional days. - If you booked a new job the *Job Record* opens. - To open an existing job, [search for the job](/v1/docs/use-search-in-servicetitan) then click the **Job #** in the search results. To add an appointment: 1. In the *Job Record* screen, scroll down to *Scheduled Appointments*. 2. Add an appointment for each day of work by clicking **Add Appointment** for a single appointment or use the **dropdown** to add multiple appointments. > **Note:** You can add more appointments later, if needed. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/961862ab-d0f2-4d91-bb62-a62ee8184eff/Images/Documentation/book-multi-day-jobs-image-ne06zouc.png) 3. Enter the appointment details: 1. Choose a **Start Date**. 2. Choose a **Start Time**. 3. If you want to set an end time select **Edit Appointment End Time** and choose the end date and time. Appointments can be multiple days long. 4. If you want to assign technicians as you're creating the appointment click the **dropdown** and select the technicians to assign. 5. Click **Schedule Appointment**. Repeat this process if you need to add days of work at a later time. ## Book a separate job for each day of work in a project You can book each day of work as its own job and organize them in a project in ServiceTitan. Keep in mind that if a technician uses *Reschedule* or *Hold*, another appointment is automatically created on that job. 1. Find the customer or service location that needs a project. You can [click the record from the Call Booking screen](/v1/docs/use-search-in-servicetitan#search-in-call-booking) if you’re on the line with the customer, or use [search](/v1/docs/use-search-in-servicetitan#search-for-records) to find the record if you’re not. 2. Click **More**![](https://cdn.document360.io/961862ab-d0f2-4d91-bb62-a62ee8184eff/Images/Documentation/icon-more-vert.png)****. 3. If booking a new job, use the *Call Booking* page to [book the job](/v1/docs/book-a-job). 2. If attaching an existing job to the project, select the existing job you want to attach in the *Attach existing job*pop-up that appears. 5. For example, if the first technician is there from 8 AM–4 PM, and the second is there from 10 AM–12 PM, schedule an appointment for each of those times. #### What do you do if a recurring commercial service takes multiple days to complete?
