# Allison (Doxim) direct mail integration for Statement Print

## Overview

This guide helps you customize and send statements to Allison to print and mail physical copies of statements to customers. Use the workflows in this guide to:

- Sync your Allison account with ServiceTitan
- Customize messaging for current and overdue statements
- Add additional messaging as needed
- Send customer statements to Allison for print/mail

- Account configuration is required to use this feature. To update your account, please contact your success or implementation manager.

## Getting started

Connect your ServiceTitan account with Allison to start using direct mail to deliver statements to customers.

### Add account ID

To start, enter your Allison (Doxim) account ID to connect your ServiceTitan account with Allison:

1. Go to the navigation bar and click **Settings**. In the side panel, click **Integrations** > **Allison**.
2. Enter your **Allison Account ID**.
3. When you're done, click **Save Settings**.

### Customize overdue messaging

Although we provide you with the default messaging for statements, you can customize your statement messaging. Customize statements to give you the opportunity to build your messaging around the needs of your business. Review the default messaging and customize as needed:

1. Go to the navigation bar and click **Settings**. In the side panel, click **Integrations** > **Allison**.
2. Under *Overdue Messaging*, the default current and overdue messages show in each field.
3. To customize the **Current** or any of the **Overdue** messages, click the field and enter your message.
4. When you're done, click **Save Settings**.

> [!NOTE]
> **Note:** The message for the most overdue aging bucket displays on the statement. For example, if your customer has two overdue payments—one payment is Overdue by 1-30 days and another Overdue by 31-60 days—the Overdue by 31-60 days message appears on the statement.

### Add additional messaging

You can also add additional customized messaging to the statements that are mailed out to your customers by Allison:

1. Go to the navigation bar and click **Settings**. In the side panel, click **Integrations** > **Allison**.
2. Under **Additional Messaging**, click the **Footer Comment Line 0** field to enter your customized message.

> **Note:** You can enter up to 6 additional messages.
3. When you're done, click **Save Settings**.

### Set up return address for business units

Add a return address to each business unit (BU) to ensure that your return address prints correctly on the statement.

To add an address to a BU:

1. Go to the navigation bar and click **Settings**. In the side panel, click **Operation** > **Business units**.
2. Click **Edit** for the BU you want to add a return address.
3. Click the **Address** tab.
4. Enter return address.
5. When you're done, click **Save**.

## Mail statements to Allison

After you add your Allison Account ID and set up your messaging you can send your customer statements to Allison for direct mail:

1. Go to the navigation bar and click **Invoice**.
2. In the side menu, click **AR Management**.
3. Enter a date range using the **From** and **To** filters:
  - The invoices and payments listed in the statement are within this date range.
  - The balance forward amount is calculated from all the outstanding invoices as of the From date.
  - The balance due amount is calculated by taking the total of all outstanding invoices within the selected date range.
4. Select the customers you want Allison to generate and mail a statement to.
5. Click the **Actions** dropdown and click **Mail Statements**.

A confirmation pop-up opens notifying you when the statements are sent.
