# Workaround to copy and paste material items between equipment in ServiceTitan

## Problem

You cannot directly copy and paste material items from one equipment to another.

## Solution

1. Go to **Pricebook.**
2. In the side menu, click **Equipment**.
3. Locate the equipment that contains the material items you need.
4. [Duplicate the equipment item](/construction/docs/duplicate-pricebook-items). This also duplicates the material items attached to it.
5. After duplication, click **Actions** actions and select the **View/Edit** option.
6. Update the **Name** and **Equipment Code** to keep them unique.
7. **Save** your changes. The duplicated equipment is now available for use with all its material items.

> **Note:** Always rename and assign a unique code to avoid duplicate issues.
