# Why is an item price changing on invoices, and how can it be resolved?

## Problem

Item prices change on certain invoices due to dynamic pricing being applied instead of a fixed, static price. This occurs when the *Use Static Prices* option is not enabled for the item in the Pricebook

## Solution

### Edit the item

1. Go to the navigation bar and click **Pricebook**.
2. Find the item and click **Edit**.
3. Check the box for *Use Static Prices*.
4.
