# Why can't my employee create a checklist form in ServiceTitan

## Problem

One of my employees can't create checklist forms but can create other forms.

## Solution

Follow the steps below to identify the issue.

### Clear your cache

1. On your computer, open Chrome.
2. Copy and paste chrome://settings/clearBrowserData into your browser's address bar.
3. Or, at the top right, click ![](https://cdn.document360.io/961862ab-d0f2-4d91-bb62-a62ee8184eff/Images/Documentation/why-cant-my-employee-create-a-checklist-form-in-servicetitan-image-u7v9oa47.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-31T02%3A28%3A31Z&se=2026-10-31T03%3A28%3A31Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=tsJEjldYLDWtUN2jwMyhpFfu42QsHjLDLXwTASKgAbM%3D) and select **Delete Browsing Data**.
4. In the window that opens, select **All time.**
5. Check the **Cookies and other site data** and **Cached images and files options**.
6. Click **Delete data**.

### Log out and log on

1. Go to the top right corner of ServiceTitan.
2. Click your profile.
3. Select **Log out**.
4. Log back in with your credentials.

### Use incognito mode

1. Open your web browser.
2. Click the three dots in the top right corner.
3. Select **New Incognito Window**.
4. Log in to ServiceTitan in this window.

### Check your employee's permissions

1. 2. In the side panel, click **Employees**.
3. Select the employee and click **Edit**.
4. Select the **Permissions** tab.
5. Ensure they have the correct permissions to create the *permit/inspection* checklists.

### Test checklist creation
