To resolve the issue: 1. Open the invoice for the job. 2. In the side menu, click **Adjust Splits**. 3. Change the splits so that the managed and active technicians have 100% of the splits, and the non-managed or deactivated technician has 0%. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/961862ab-d0f2-4d91-bb62-a62ee8184eff/Images/Documentation/why-am-i-getting-action-is-cancelled-at-least-one-managed-technician-must-be-assigned-to-this-appointment-since-the-job-total-0-error-message-image-d9jr3ide.jpg?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-31T02%3A40%3A08Z&se=2026-10-31T03%3A40%3A08Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=THLfDScXMx2By8%2F56aqra8gc2hPA2A8N%2BScFNYGeZnc%3D) 4. When finished, click **Save**. For more, see [Set technician splits](/construction/docs/set-technician-splits#manage-technician-assignments-for-invoice-splits). Split determines how much credit each technician is getting for the job. For example: If two technicians perform work on a job, the split could be an even 50%-50%, or it could be 75%-25% if the first technician did a bulk of the work. By default 100% of the technician split will go to the first technician assigned to the job.
