# What settings do I need to adjust to prevent the system from sending online estimate links to customers before the estimates are completed and sent out?

## Problem

The system is texting customers links to estimates before the estimates are completed and sent out.

## Solution

You can control when estimate links are sent to your customers, ensuring they only receive them when you're ready.

### Follow these steps to stop premature estimates from being emailed to customers

1. Go to **Settings**.
2. Search for *Email* under the *Invoicing* section.
3. On the email settings page, find the *Estimate* tab.
4. Adjust the settings under *Resend the estimate setup* to **None** to prevent the system from sending estimate links prematurely.
