# What permission is needed for a field tech to edit an estimate of a completed job in ServiceTitan Mobile?

## Problem

Field technicians need a specific permission to be able edit estimates from completed jobs in the mobile follow up tab.

## Solution

### Assign Permission

Ensure your technician has the right permission. The permission is called **Edit estimates in follow up**.

1. Go to **Settings**.
2. Go to **People** > **Technicians**.
3. Find the technician's name and click **Edit**.
4. Click **Permissions**.
5. Use the search field to search for **Edit estimates in follow up**. The permission is listed in the *Lead Generation* section under *Estimates & Follow Ups*.
6. 7. Click **Save**.
