# What is the process for creating a blank estimate with no information or tasks, but with the company's information and a one-year warranty on all workmanship?

## Problem

You need to create an estimate with no tasks or information. You want to add your company's details and a warranty note.

## Solution

You will have a blank estimate with your company's information and a one-year warranty note at the bottom.

### Set up the business unit

1. 2. In the side panel, click **Operations >** **Business Unit**.
3. Update the **Acknowledgement Agreement** and **Authorization Paragraph** fields. This is where you add your one-year warranty on all workmanship.

### Create a blank estimate on the Call Booking screen

1. Go to the **Call Booking** screen.
2. Select a location for the estimate.
3. Click **Build Estimate** at the bottom of the page. Make sure you don't add any tasks or information.

4. Click **Back to Call** screen from the top left corner.
5. Book a job with this estimate for a specific customer.

### Create a blank estimate on the Location screen

1. Go to the **Location** screen.
2. Click **Opportunities & Estimates**.
3. Click **Build Estimate**.

> **Note:** You need the Opportunities on Locations configuration enabled on your account. Please contact your success manager or [technical support](http://go.servicetitan.com/ask) to have access to the feature.

If you choose this option, you don't need to book a sales job later.
