# What is the process for adding items to a requisition-based purchase order that doesn’t allow manual additions?

## Problem

I can't add items to a purchase order made from a requisition.

## Solution

Create a new PO and use the updated requisition with all items included.

### Updating and reprocessing a purchase order

1. [Cancel transactions](/construction/docs/cancel-transactions) the Pending Purchase Order (PO). This returns the items to the requisition list.
2. Go to the requisition list. Find the requisition you worked on.
3. [Edit](/construction/docs/edit-download-and-cancel-inventory-requisitions) the Requisition. Add the new items you missed.
4. Assign the same procurement source and shipping info. Do this for all items, new and old.
5. [Create](/construction/docs/create-purchase-orders-2) a new PO. Use the updated requisition with all items included.
