The specific category does not matter; what matters is that a category is selected at all. ### Add a category to the service item 1. Go to the navigation bar and click **Pricebook**. 2. Use the search bar to find the service item. 3. When you find the item, click **More**![](https://cdn.document360.io/961862ab-d0f2-4d91-bb62-a62ee8184eff/Images/Documentation/icon-more-vert-blue.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-31T01%3A49%3A30Z&se=2026-10-31T02%3A49%3A30Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=Nxh1DWUs4AWTRzhKZ%2FIgLA5mhDu0GRf4LD%2BK9RV9fXo%3D)and select **View/Edit Service**. 4. Find the *Category* field and select a category for the service item. For example, Custom Services or Electrical. 5. Save your changes. The category you chose is updated for the service item.
