# What is the total amount spent on purchase orders for the year?

Users can't find the total amount spent on purchase orders for the year and want a single total, not a breakdown.

## Solution

Follow the steps below to find the total amount spent on purchase orders for the year.

### Review the total amount spent on purchase orders for the year

1. Go to the navigation bar and click **Dashboard**.
2. In the *Reports* section, select **Purchase Orders**.
3. In the report, add or remove columns as needed.
4. Group the purchase orders to show a single total.
5. Filter the report to include all purchase orders for the year.
6. Make sure the report includes all statuses of purchase orders.
7. Review the total amount spent on purchase orders for the year.
