This occurs if the vendor being deactivated is set as the primary vendor for equipment in Pricebook. Remove the vendor as a primary vendor and it will be available for deactivation. #### Can I attach a PDF file to a Purchasing Vendor profile in ServiceTitan? No, you can't. We recommend storing vendor documents in a separate, secure file storage system outside of ServiceTitan. #### Why don't all of my vendors show up in the Pricebook? Vendor lists in Pricebook will include truck replenishment vendors only. If the *Truck Replenishment Vendor* option is not selected in **Settings > Vendors**, you will not see the vendor in Pricebook. This means the vendor will not be used for truck replenishment POs. ## Want to learn more? - See [Set up vendor list and primary vendor for pricebook items](/construction/docs/set-up-vendor-list-and-primary-vendor-for-pricebook-items-4) - See [Set up purchase order types](/construction/docs/set-up-purchase-order-types) - See [Set up remittance vendors](/construction/docs/set-up-remittance-vendors) - See [Apply vendor tax to material costs on estimates](/v1/docs/apply-vendor-tax-to-material-costs-on-estimates) Formal documents sent to vendors to authorize purchasing materials or equipment, tracked against specific jobs in ServiceTitan. **What it does:** Controls material spend by requiring approval for purchases and matching POs to job costs for accurate job profitability tracking. **Also called:** Material orders, Vendor orders **Tags:** Core [See the full glossary →](https://help.servicetitan.com/docs/glossary-overview) **a.k.a.** PO ServiceTitan's product and service catalog where all items, tasks, materials, and pricing are defined and maintained. **What it does:** Ensures pricing consistency across all technicians and CSRs and enables fast, accurate estimate and invoice generation. **Also called:** Price list, Service catalog **Tags:** Core [See the full glossary →](https://help.servicetitan.com/docs/glossary-overview) An internal division within ServiceTitan used to segment work, reporting, and accounting — for example, “Resi HVAC” vs. “Commercial Plumbing.” **What it does:** Lets multi-trade or multi-division businesses track performance, capacity, and financials separately per division. **Where to find it:** Settings › Business Units. **Also called:** Trade division, Service line, BU **Tags:** Core [Learn more →](https://help.servicetitan.com/docs/add-and-edit-a-trade-or-division) · [See the full glossary →](https://help.servicetitan.com/docs/glossary-overview)
