This feature lets you toggle between the traditional PDF-based view and a line-item view that highlights services, equipment, and photos. Choosing the right view helps you match customer preferences and increases the speed of estimate approvals. --- ### #### Who uses this feature - Administrators and office employees - Applies to all business types - Applies to all trades #### Feature configuration - Account configuration is required to use this feature. Please contact [Technical Support](http://go.servicetitan.com/ask) for details. ## Best practices - Choose PDF-based view if you rely on highly customized proposal templates, branding, or legal layouts. - Use Estimate line-item view if you want to showcase high-quality pricebook images and descriptions directly in the browser. ## Set up Online Estimates View Preferences Configure how your customers interact with estimates in the Customer Portal by selecting your preferred display mode: 1. In the side panel, go to **Estimates > Online Estimates**. 3. If you select **Estimate line-item view**, configure the following: 1. In the *Line item type display options* section, select the checkboxes for the items you want to show. 1. Show Services line-items 2. Show Equipment line-items 3. Show Materials line-items 4. Show Other Direct Costs line-items 5. Show Discounts and Fees line-items 2. In the *Line item field display options* section, select the checkboxes for specific details: 1. Show line-item photos 2. Show current member savings 3. Show potential member savings 4. Show line-item pricing 5. Show option to download PDF 5. If you select the **PDF-based view**, the system automatically displays the estimate title, summary, and a cover photo from your Pricebook. 6. In the Customer Portal, on the estimate card, click **View**. 2. On the PDF viewer that opens, review the estimate details—item image, code, description, quantity, price, totals, and the deposit. 3. If the deposit hasn’t been paid yet, click **Pay Deposit** to pay it. 4. In Customer Portal, click **Sign & Accept Estimate**. 2. If your account allows deposit payment later, a **Deposit Payment** window asks, *When would you like to pay the deposit?* Choose **Pay $[deposit amount] now** or **Pay later**. - If you pay now, enter your payment information in the Deposit Payment window and click **Submit Payment**. - If you choose Pay later, you return to the Online Estimates page and can pay the deposit at any time by clicking **Pay Deposit** on the online estimate. You can customize the layout using Document Template Editor (DTE). In Customer Portal, click an estimate option to view the estimate details. 2. On the estimate details screen, you can do the following: 1. Click **Download PDF** to download a PDF version of the estimate. 2. Click **Apply for Financing** to apply for a loan if available. 3. When ready to move forward, click **Sign & Accept Estimate**. 4.
