Not available in Canada. - Account configuration required. Please contact [Technical Support](https://go.servicetitan.com/#/ask) for details. ## Things to know - Automated Clearing House (ACH) is a U.S. financial network used for electronic bank-to-bank payments. This helps eliminate additional paperwork and processes by automating the tedious task of remembering to make monthly payments much easier and faster for your business. - ServiceTitan uses Plaid--an industry leading and super secure payment processor--to handle all ACH connections, inquiries, and payments. Learn more about [Plaid's security](https://plaid.com/security/) and [privacy](https://plaid.com/legal/#legal-overview-consumers) policies. - If Plaid cannot automatically verify your account, they will deposit a micro-deposit (a very small amount of money) into your bank account. To complete your ACH connection, within 48 hours you will be asked to confirm the exact amount of the micro-deposit, so keep your bank information handy. - If you don't want to share your bank login credentials with Plaid, you can [manually connect your bank account](/construction/docs/set-up-ach-payment#manually-connect-your-bank-account). > [!NOTE] > **Note:** ServiceTitan cannot see or access the bank information that you provide whether you share your bank login details with Plaid or choose to connect your bank manually. ## Add ACH payment 1. Do one of the following: 1. If you are completing your initial account setup with ServiceTitan and you're prompted to *Connect your bank account*, continue to step 2. 2. Click **Connect Your Bank**. 3. Review the terms of service and click **Accept**. A pop-up opens to link ServiceTitan with Plaid. 4. Click **Continue**. Select your bank and then enter your bank login credentials to connect your bank to ServiceTitan. > [!NOTE] > **Note:** If you have multiple accounts, select the one you want to connect and click **Continue**. The connected account can be savings or checking. Depending on your bank account, you see one of three states: 1. **Bank account connected:** Plaid automatically connects with your bank. You don't need to take any additional steps. 2. **Pending auto verification:** Plaid automatically confirms the micro-deposits and completes the ACH setup. You don't need to take any additional steps. 3. **Additional verification required:** You need to manually confirm the micro-deposits that were made to the account you selected. To confirm, go to **Settings > Your Account > Billing** and select **Verify Deposits**. Enter the two small micro-deposit amounts made to your account over the last 48 hours. 6. > [!NOTE] > **Note:** If you want to cancel at any time during the verification process, click **Cancel**. This lets you enter a new account number and restart the ACH verification process if you want to change your bank account number or account type. Do one of the following: 1. If you are completing your initial account setup with ServiceTitan and you're prompted to *Connect your bank account*, continue to step 2. 2. Click **Connect Your Bank**. 3. Review the terms of service and click **Accept**. A pop-up opens to link ServiceTitan with Plaid. 4. Click **Continue**. The *Select your bank* pop-up opens. 5. Click **Continue**. 7. Select **Checking** or **Saving** and then click **Continue**. 8. Click **Update** for the existing bank account in Billing and repeat the setup workflow. ## FAQ --- ### #### What's ACH? Automated Clearing House (ACH) is a network used to make electronic payments, moving funds from one bank to another. In ServiceTitan, ACH is free and an easy way to make monthly payments for your ServiceTitan services. All you do is connect your company bank account and ServiceTitan does the rest. For added security, we've partnered with Plaid—a secure and popular payment processing service trusted by companies across a number of industries. For more on ACH in ServiceTitan, see Set up ACH payment. #### How do I know my bank information is secure? ServiceTitan cannot see or access the bank information that you provide, and uses Plaid, an industry leading and super secure payment processor, to handle all ACH connections, inquiries, and payments. For more on how Plaid keeps your bank information safe, review their security policies. #### What if I don't want to enter my bank login credentials? If you don't want to provide your bank's login credentials, you can manually connect your bank to ServiceTitan using your account and routing numbers. Here's how: 1. When prompted, click **Connect Your Bank**. 2. Review and accept the terms of service. 3. When the *Sync Plaid to ServiceTitan* pop-up opens, click **Continue**. 4. Enter some letters into the search bar and click **Continue**. 5. Select either **Checking** or **Savings** and click **Continue**. 6. Follow the workflow and enter your bank's routing number and account number, and then confirm your account number. You can pay by credit card only if your ServiceTitan account was set up with the option to use this form of payment. If your account allows you to pay via ACH, connect your company bank account and ServiceTitan does the rest. If your account allows for either form of payment, you won't need to enter your ACH information in the *Billing* section. Your ServiceTitan account executive has already collected your company credit card information which will be used to make monthly payments for your ServiceTitan services. **Canada only**: ServiceTitan takes credit card payments only for customers in Canada.
