# Set follow-up reminders for opportunities in the ServiceTitan Field Mobile App

## Overview

If there are unsold estimates when you [complete a job](/v1/docs/complete-a-job-in-fma) in the Field Mobile App, an opportunity follow-up is created automatically. The app prompts you to set a follow-up reminder immediately after completing the job. Set reminders to follow up on these opportunities to avoid missing out on potential revenue and close more deals.

- The following permissions are required to use this feature. Please contact the account administrator on your team.
  - *Access follow ups*
  - *Edit estimates in follow up*

## Things to know

- Each follow-up reminder is sent as a separate message. For example, if you set follow-up reminders for different customers for the same date and time, you'll receive separate reminders.

## Best practices

- Add opportunities to your navigation bar to quickly access your follow-ups. ## Set an opportunity follow-up reminder when completing a job in the Field Mobile App

When you complete a job, if the job's opportunity status is *Not attempted*, *Contacted*, or *Unreachable* when online, a pop-up prompts you to set a follow-up reminder.

> **Note:** If you’re offline, the system checks if all estimates are unsold and at least one is not in dismissed status.

1. On the pop-up, tap **Edit**.

> **Tip:** If you don’t want to set the reminder now, tap **Done** to skip and then [set a reminder later from the *Opportunities* screen](/construction/docs/set-follow-up-reminders-for-opportunities-in-the-servicetitan-field-mobile-app#set-an-opportunity-followup-reminder-from-the-opportunities-screen-in-the-field-mobile-app).
2. On the screen that opens, set the **Date** and **Time** you want to be reminded.
3. Turn on the **Reminders** toggle and select **Text**, **Email**, or both.

4. Tap **Save** to set the reminder.

## Set an opportunity follow-up reminder from the Opportunities screen in the Field Mobile App

### Step 1: Locate an opportunity in the Field Mobile App

1. 2. 3. On the *Opportunities* screen that opens, use the following options to filter and sort your opportunities:
  - **Sort and Filter** ![](https://cdn.document360.io/961862ab-d0f2-4d91-bb62-a62ee8184eff/Images/Documentation/icon-filter-alt.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-31T01%3A51%3A01Z&se=2026-10-31T02%3A51%3A01Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=1Kcn6Ebztg8ao0bbEP7f736mMffmbSazPYLnnyjGFQk%3D)**:** Contains all sort and filter options, in addition to a *Reset All* option.
  - **Sort:** Sort by *Date (Most Recent)* or *Date (Oldest)*.
  - **Date Range:** Filter by *Today, Past Week, Past 2 Weeks, Past Month,* or *Custom* date range.

> **Tip:** You can also use the search box to find specific opportunities and the *Reminders* filter to only see opportunities that have follow-up reminders set up. Your filter selections persist within your session, so you don't need to reconfigure them each time you return to the Opportunities screen.

### Step 2: Set an opportunity follow-up reminder in the Field Mobile App

1. After you find the opportunity you want to follow up on, tap it to open it.

2. 3. On the screen that opens:
  1. Set the **Date** and **Time** you want to be reminded.
  2. Turn on the **Reminders** toggle.
  3. Select if you want to be reminded by **Phone**, **Email**, or both.
  4. > **Note:** You must have at least one phone or email contact method added to your profile in the office to create a follow-up reminder.

Depending on what you selected, you'll be reminded to follow up by phone, email, or both.
