Once your foremen send daily logs to you through the [ServiceTitan Field Mobile App](/construction/docs/field-mobile-app-home-1), you can convert them into formal PDFs to facilitate timely requests for information (RFIs), change orders, mitigation efforts, and enhanced communication. --- ### #### Who uses this feature - Office employees - Primarily for Commercial Construction business types - Applies to all trades #### Feature configuration - Account configuration is required to use this feature. Please contact [Technical Support](http://go.servicetitan.com/ask) for details. ## Things to know - The fields under the **Field Report** tab are not editable as those are entered in by the foreman in the ServiceTitan Field Mobile App. - If the foreman doesn't edit any fields, the daily log remains *Incomplete*. When the foreman edits at least one field, the system changes the status to *Draft.* - You can create more than one Daily Log Print template to control which sections appear in the PDF, such as a version without timesheet data for a general contractor. For more, see [Create and use Daily Log Print templates](/construction/docs/create-and-use-daily-log-print-templates). ## Best practices - Work with your foreman to establish a consistent, repeatable, and scalable process for daily reporting across projects. ## Find and review Daily Log Field Reports In daily logs, the Field Report is the information that the foreman in the field enters on the ServiceTitan Field Mobile App. To find the specific Field Report(s) you're looking for: 1. [Search](https://go.servicetitan.com/#/Search) for and open the project. 2. In the side panel, click **Daily Logs**. Review the daily log. ## Generate Logs After you review the Field Report entered by the foreman, you can generate a log that can be downloaded as a PDF. To generate a log on a Field Report: 1. Open the Daily Log you want to generate a log for. 2. Go to the **Generated Log** tab. 3. Click **Generate Log**. To convert the daily log to PDF, click **Download PDF**. If more than one Daily Log Print template exists, the *Choose PDF Template* window opens. Select the template you want to use.
