Keeping trucks and warehouses replenished at all times helps maintain service level agreements for jobs by having items available at all times. You can restock trucks and warehouses for stock items that are consumed on the job and need to be replenished. --- ### #### Who uses this feature - Office employees and managers #### Feature configuration - Account configuration is required to use this feature. Please contact [Technical Support](http://go.servicetitan.com/ask) for details. > [!NOTE] > **Note:** If these instructions don't work for you, you may still be using the previous version of this feature. For more information about that version, see the [Truck inventory replenishment overview](/construction/docs/truck-inventory-replenishment-overview). ## Things to know - In the *Purchasing Module*, items with the same **ship to location**, **inventory location**, **item code**, **vendor part number**, and **item** description are grouped under one line item on a PO invoice. In the *Inventory Module*, there is only one record because the records are based on the assigned inventory template. - When you create purchase orders (POs) from the *Replenishment* page to replenish items, you have the option to group the items to create an optimum number of POs. You can group the items by **Vendor and Warehouse**, **Vendor and Location**, or **Vendor and Location and Job.** Use grouping to create an optimum number of POs to help you manage replenishment. Also, when you group POs, you can send one PO to the vendor instead of sending multiple POs to vendors. > [!NOTE] > **Note:** You can group replenishment if you are using the **Purchasing** module. ![A cursor selecting Vendor&Location option from the dropdown list.](https://cdn.document360.io/961862ab-d0f2-4d91-bb62-a62ee8184eff/Images/Documentation/replenish-items-with-purchase-orders-image-bfzym523.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-31T01%3A41%3A03Z&se=2026-10-31T02%3A41%3A03Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=b3PDKjw3QgQcwciEPDfbCSx5V5u99%2B8o2XU1dB6Cy%2F8%3D) - When you create a replenishment purchase order (PO) for a truck, the business unit (BU) on the PO is set to the BU of the technician assigned to this truck. - If you don't have enough stock items in your warehouse to replenish your trucks, create POs to replenish your trucks for the required stock items. - The *Replenishment* purchase order type is included by default and can't be used when [creating a PO](/construction/docs/create-purchase-orders-2). Manual replenishments can only be created from the *Replenishment* page. ## More about Replenishment The *Replenishment* page displays replenishment records. ServiceTitan generates these records, which are recommendations for stock items that need replenishment by inventory location. The replenishment records are created based on the minimum and maximum reorder points given for each item at each inventory location in [the template you created in your settings](/construction/docs/create-and-edit-inventory-templates). When you update a template attached to your inventory location, the changes aren't applied instantly. You will see a notification banner on your page, letting you know these changes are in progress. The notification banner disappears once all changes are applied successfully. > [!NOTE] > **Note:** If you don't see a notification banner, then your updates are applied instantly. Replenishment for items will be triggered after a job has started. This helps you ensure that if a job is canceled before it starts, you are not replenishing items that weren't used. If you have an open replenishment request for an item and that item is deactivated, your replenishment will be automatically removed. ## Create a replenishment purchase order [Replenish Items with purchase orders using both the Inventory and Purchasing Modules Video](https://fast.wistia.net/embed/iframe/6r6h8v00o8?web_component=true&seo=true&videoFoam=false) If you are using both **Inventory** and **Purchasing** modules: 1. To apply a filter, from the filter dropdown, select the filter type you want. To remove the filter, click **Clear Filters**. 2. For each material or equipment, you can have multiple Active vendors but only one Primary. When creating POs, the vendor defaults to the Primary, but all Active vendors are available for selection. 4. To create a replenishment PO for the selected items, click **Create**. The *Create Transactions* pop-up window opens and displays the number of POs that will be created.![Create Transactions pop-up window](https://cdn.document360.io/961862ab-d0f2-4d91-bb62-a62ee8184eff/Images/Documentation/replenish-items-with-purchase-orders-image-1vnsydht.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-31T01%3A41%3A03Z&se=2026-10-31T02%3A41%3A03Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=b3PDKjw3QgQcwciEPDfbCSx5V5u99%2B8o2XU1dB6Cy%2F8%3D) 5. Replenishment POs don't show job numbers as a replenishment PO could be formed from multiple jobs instead of just one job. ## Want to learn more? - See [Replenish items using transfers](/construction/docs/replenish-items-using-transfers) - See [Truck inventory replenishment workflows](/construction/docs/truck-inventory-replenishment-workflows)
