# Project management setup checklist

## Overview

Use this checklist (PDF) to set up project management in ServiceTitan. Related topics include:

This checklist goes over:

- Project settings, including creating project labels, default preferences, project setup and retainage
- Pricebook setup, including customer billing, labor offered, costs, and labels for labor, materials, and equipment
- Setup for business units, trades, technicians, job types, project statuses, invoicing, and payments

Invoicing customers in stages as specific milestones of a large project are completed rather than in one lump sum at the end.
