Customers can see if they pre-qualify and apply for a Wells Fargo® loan directly from the portal. If you also have a second-look financing partner enabled, the customer's pre-qualification is submitted to Wells Fargo and the second-look partner at the same time, so a Wells Fargo decline doesn't mean starting over - The customer's second-look result is presented as part of the same outcome, with no separate application needed. --- ### ### Who uses this feature Back office employees. Applies to all business types. ### Feature configuration Account configuration is required to use this feature. Please contact [Technical Support](/construction/docs/offer-wells-fargo-loans-to-customers-through-online-estimates#) for details. ## Before using this feature Before using this feature, you first need to: - [Set up online estimates](/construction/docs/use-online-estimates). You can customize your Invoice email template to include the {OnlineEstimateLink} text. - [Set up Wells Fargo Financing in ServiceTitan](/construction/docs/use-wells-fargo-financing-in-servicetitan). You can set up your accounts and create default and custom financing rules for the plans you want to offer customers. - If you want a Wells Fargo decline to automatically include a second-look result, [set up your second-look financing integration](/construction/docs/second-look-financing-with-turns-financing-overview) as well (currently TURNS; additional second-look partners are expected in the future). Second-look financing is optional - Without it, a declined customer sees only the Wells Fargo outcome. ## Enable Wells Fargo® in Online Estimates 1. If a Second-Look Provider is also configured on the account, it's automatically included as a second-look option on the same estimates. ## Invite customers to complete the Wells Fargo® application You can invite customers to complete a Wells Fargo® application by emailing them a link to view their estimates online, which can be done from both the mobile and office versions of ServiceTitan. For more information, see [Use Online Estimates](/construction/docs/use-online-estimates). ## Online estimates workflow for Wells Fargo® financing When a customer opens an online Estimate, they can review Good/Better/Best proposal options and apply for Wells Fargo® financing directly from the Online Estimates Portal. Each proposal option that qualifies for financing shows an estimated or suggested monthly payment, a **See If You Pre-qualify** link, a **Financing Terms** link next to the Wells Fargo logo, a **View** button, and a **Sign & Accept Estimate** button (disabled once that proposal has already been accepted). ![Three plan preview cards showing Good / Better / Best options with sample monthly payments, Wells Fargo branding, and action buttons.](https://cdn.document360.io/961862ab-d0f2-4d91-bb62-a62ee8184eff/Images/Documentation/offer-wells-fargo-loans-to-customers-through-online-estimates_page_0003_img_01.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-31T02%3A40%3A24Z&se=2026-10-31T03%3A40%3A24Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=jD2F0mfDtywhHp%2BSLEpRUvoe4KJl6t2QMBUXlCXTCJY%3D) ### Step 1: See If You Pre-qualify (soft credit check) 1. **Select a Plan** - The **Desired Financed Amount** is pre-filled from the proposal total (editable via the pencil icon). The customer chooses among the available plans, for example: "Lowest Payment / 0% APR" (equal monthly Payments for a set term) or "Deferred Interest" (a low minimum payment with a higher suggested payment, no interest if paid in full within the promotional period - e.g. 6 or 18 months). Each plan card shows Min. Payment (and Sugg. Payment for Deferred Interest plans), Max APR, Description, and a **View Terms** link. The customer clicks **Select Plan**. ![Vertical stack of financing plan cards showing example monthly amounts, descriptions, View Terms links, and Select Plan buttons; Wells Fargo header above.](https://cdn.document360.io/961862ab-d0f2-4d91-bb62-a62ee8184eff/Images/Documentation/offer-wells-fargo-loans-to-customers-through-online-estimates_page_0003_img_02.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-31T02%3A40%3A24Z&se=2026-10-31T03%3A40%3A24Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=jD2F0mfDtywhHp%2BSLEpRUvoe4KJl6t2QMBUXlCXTCJY%3D) 1. **Select a way to apply** - A modal appears: "Not sure which to choose? Start with pre-qualifying to see your options without affecting your credit score. You can always "complete the application later." It offers two paths: - **Check if you pre-qualify** (a **See If You Pre-qualify** button; a soft pull with no credit-score impact). > [!NOTE] > **Note:** Customers without a Social Security Number cannot pre-qualify. Those with an ITIN should skip pre-qualification and complete a full application instead). - **Complete application** (an **Apply Now** button; submits directly to Wells Fargo with a hard credit inquiry that may impact the customer's credit score). ![A Wells Fargo modal dialog over a dimmed background showing options to Select a way to apply with a See If You Pre-qualify button and an Apply Now button in the modal center.](https://cdn.document360.io/961862ab-d0f2-4d91-bb62-a62ee8184eff/Images/Documentation/offer-wells-fargo-loans-to-customers-through-online-estimates_page_0004_img_01.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-31T02%3A40%3A24Z&se=2026-10-31T03%3A40%3A24Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=jD2F0mfDtywhHp%2BSLEpRUvoe4KJl6t2QMBUXlCXTCJY%3D) 3. **Applicant -** The customer completes Personal Information: First Name, Last Name, Email Address, Primary Phone Number, Date of Birth, Social Security Number, Gross Monthly Income, and Income Type (dropdown), then clicks **Next**. ![A financing application form screenshot showing personal information fields labeled First Name, Last Name, Email Address, Primary Phone Number, Date of Birth, Social Security Number, Gross Monthly Income, and an Income Type dropdown.](https://cdn.document360.io/961862ab-d0f2-4d91-bb62-a62ee8184eff/Images/Documentation/offer-wells-fargo-loans-to-customers-through-online-estimates_page_0004_img_02.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-31T02%3A40%3A24Z&se=2026-10-31T03%3A40%3A24Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=jD2F0mfDtywhHp%2BSLEpRUvoe4KJl6t2QMBUXlCXTCJY%3D) 4. **Job details -** The customer enters the service address (Address Line 1, Address Line 2, City, State, Zip Code), selects a Residence Type (Own with mortgage / Own outright / Rent), and selects an Improvement Type (dropdown). Below the fields, the customer checks a consent box: "By checking this box, I understand this is not a credit card application and is only being used to see if any pre-qualified offers are available. I also understand Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. will conduct a soft pull of my credit and this will not affect my credit score. I also understand that if Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. has no available offers, ServiceTitan will send the above information to secondary lenders." with a **View terms** link, plus a note that Ownership Type, Income Type, and Improvement Type will not be shared with Wells Fargo. The customer clicks **See If You Pre-qualify.** ![Screenshot of a Wells Fargo financing web form titled Apply for Financing with Wells Fargo showing Applicant and Job details sections — address fields, city/state/zip, Residence Type radio buttons, Improvement Type dropdown, a consent checkbox with the soft-pull/terms text, and a See If You Pre-qualify button.](https://cdn.document360.io/961862ab-d0f2-4d91-bb62-a62ee8184eff/Images/Documentation/offer-wells-fargo-loans-to-customers-through-online-estimates_page_0005_img_01.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-31T02%3A40%3A24Z&se=2026-10-31T03%3A40%3A24Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=jD2F0mfDtywhHp%2BSLEpRUvoe4KJl6t2QMBUXlCXTCJY%3D) The pre-qualification outcome then displays: "You've been prequalified. In that case, if the job is in an eligible second-look Business Unit, the customer is redirected to continue into the second-look partner's waterfall application flow to complete a full application with that partner's lenders. ServiceTitan has no control over the questions, decisions, or application process once the customer is in the Wells Fargo or second-look partner's application flow — all financing decisions are made by the third-party lender. If no second-look partner is enabled, the customer sees only the Wells Fargo outcome at each stage, with no further automatic hand-off to another lender. **Want to learn more?** - See [Use Wells Fargo Financing in ServiceTitan](/construction/docs/offer-wells-fargo-loans-to-customers-through-online-estimates#) - See [Use Online Estimates](/construction/docs/offer-wells-fargo-loans-to-customers-through-online-estimates#) - See [Second-look financing with TURNS Financing overview](/construction/docs/offer-wells-fargo-loans-to-customers-through-online-estimates#) - See [Use TURNS single application waterfall financing in Customer Portal](/construction/docs/offer-wells-fargo-loans-to-customers-through-online-estimates#) Integration with third-party financing partners (e.g., GreenSky, Wisetack) that lets customers apply for financing on large jobs. **What it does:** Increases average ticket size and close rates by removing price barriers for customers who can't pay upfront. **Also called:** Customer financing, Payment plans **Tags:** Core [See the full glossary →](https://help.servicetitan.com/docs/glossary-overview) **a.k.a.** Customer Financing The finalized billing document sent to a customer after work is completed, generated from job records in ServiceTitan. **What it does:** Records all work performed and charges for accurate payment collection, financial reporting, and accounting integration. **Also called:** Bill, Work order invoice **Tags:** Core [See the full glossary →](https://help.servicetitan.com/docs/glossary-overview) A formal price quote presented to a customer before work begins, created from Pricebook items in ServiceTitan. **What it does:** Gives customers a transparent breakdown of costs and enables the business to track conversion from estimate to sold job. **Also called:** Quote, Proposal **Tags:** Core [See the full glossary →](https://help.servicetitan.com/docs/glossary-overview) Integrated payment processing within ServiceTitan for collecting credit card, ACH, and financing payments in the field or office. **What it does:** Eliminates third-party payment friction by letting techs collect payment on-site via the mobile app, with funds deposited directly. **Also called:** In-app payments, Field payments **Tags:** Core [See the full glossary →](https://help.servicetitan.com/docs/glossary-overview) **a.k.a.** ServiceTitan Payments The core work record in ServiceTitan representing a service request, containing appointments, invoices, estimates, and notes. **What it does:** Acts as the operational and financial center of gravity for all work performed — everything is tied to a Job. **Also called:** Work order, Service ticket **Tags:** Core [Learn more →](https://help.servicetitan.com/docs/servicetitan-glossary) · [See the full glossary →](https://help.servicetitan.com/docs/glossary-overview) An internal division within ServiceTitan used to segment work, reporting, and accounting — for example, “Resi HVAC” vs. “Commercial Plumbing.” **What it does:** Lets multi-trade or multi-division businesses track performance, capacity, and financials separately per division. **Where to find it:** Settings › Business Units. **Also called:** Trade division, Service line, BU **Tags:** Core [Learn more →](https://help.servicetitan.com/docs/add-and-edit-a-trade-or-division) · [See the full glossary →](https://help.servicetitan.com/docs/glossary-overview)
