Items can be moved between trucks, warehouses and mobile storage locations. --- ### #### Who uses this feature - Administrators, office employees, and managers - Applies to all business types #### Feature configuration - To use this feature, Inventory and Consignment must be enabled ## Things to know - When a consignment item is replenished or transferred to another consignment location, it remains as a consignment item. - When a consignment item is replenished or transferred to an owned location, it automatically converts to an owned item. - When a consignment item is converted into an owned item a Purchase Order and Receipt is auto-generated to record this conversion. ## Transfer consignment items 1. Go to **Inventory > Transfers > Create New**. 2. In the *Transfer Type* dropdown, select **Consignment**. 3. If the Transfer To location is Owned, the item automatically converts to Owned, creating a purchase order and a receipt. Converting is only possible if the item has a consignment vendor selected as its default vendor. 4. Fill in additional fields as needed. 5. When finished, click **Save.** > [!NOTE] > **Note:** Transfers are completed when they move through the [Picked](/construction/docs/inventory-item-transfer-workflow#pick-an-item) stage and are marked as [Received.](/construction/docs/inventory-item-transfer-workflow#receive-items) ## Replenish consignment items from a warehouse to a truck 1. Go to **Inventory > Replenishment > Trucks** tab. 2. Select the checkbox for the item(s) you wish to replenish. 4. Repeat for any additional items. 7. When finished, click **Create.** 8. On the *Create Transactions* popup, review the transaction and click **Create**. > [!NOTE] > **Note:** If the items are being replenished to a consignment location, a transfer will be created.
