Migrate your scheduler from Web Scheduler 2.0 to Scheduling Pro Free

Overview

Web Scheduler 2.0 is being deprecated starting October 2026. Migrate to Scheduling Pro Free at no additional cost. Scheduling Pro Free is a modernized, fully supported platform that replaces Web Scheduler 2.0, giving your customers a better booking experience and giving you faster bug fixes, continuous updates, and a clear path to Scheduling Pro Premium.

  • Administrators, office employees, managers, dispatchers, and customer service representatives (CSRs)

  • Account configuration is required to use this feature. Please contact Technical Support for details.

Things to know

  • When importing from Web Scheduler 2.0, supported settings such as job type mappings, business unit mappings, and campaigns are transferred to Scheduling Pro Free.

  • After importing a scheduler, always review and update tenant-specific settings, such as job types, campaigns, business units, and tags to ensure everything aligns with your current setup.

  • Scheduling Pro Free includes all the features you had in Web Scheduler 2.0, plus a modernized UI, faster updates, and the ability to place your scheduler on multiple websites and set up Reserve with Google.

  • Some scheduling settings sections display a lock icon, these are Scheduling Pro Premium features that are locked for the Scheduling Pro Free version. These do not affect your existing Web Scheduler 2.0 functionality. Instructions for customizing questions and answers in a scheduling tool interface.

  • When migrating from Web Scheduler 2.0, use the import option in Scheduling Pro to carry over your existing setup and avoid rebuilding from scratch.

  • If you want to take advantage of the modernized booking experience, faster bug fixes, and a path to Scheduling Pro Premium features such as SMS lead recovery and advanced routing.

Import scheduler from Web Scheduler 2.0

Import your scheduler using setup information from a Web Scheduler 2.0 account. This option is only available if you already have an existing Web Scheduler 2.0 scheduler.

Step 1: Select your source

  1. Within WorkConnect, click Create Scheduler > Create from Import. Menu options for creating a scheduler, including 'Create from Import' feature.

  2. On the How would you like to import your scheduler? screen, click Import from Web SchedulerOptions for importing scheduler settings, highlighting 'Import from Web Scheduler' choice.

  3. Under the Which Web Scheduler would you like to import? select the web scheduler you want to import, then click NextUser selects the Basic Scheduler option from a list of web schedulers.

Step 2: Review your job type mapping

  1. On the Map job types and business units screen, review your job type and business unit mapping: Mapping plumbing job types and business units for leak repairs and services.        

    1. Review the job type mapping: verify that each job type from Web Scheduler 2.0 is mapped to the correct job type in Scheduling Pro. Make edits as needed.

    2. Review the business unit mapping: verify that business units are mapped correctly. Make edits as needed.

  2. Click Next.

Step 3: Review your campaign selection

  1. On the Confirm your campaign screen, review your campaign settings.
    You can keep the existing campaign from Web Scheduler or update it. Confirm your campaign settings for the Web Scheduler, focusing on Building36.

  2. Click Next to complete the import.

After you import your scheduler, it appears at the bottom of your scheduler list in Scheduling Pro. And at the top of the imported scheduler, you can see a banner in Scheduling Pro that confirms you are on the free plan.

After migration

After your scheduler is imported, take a moment to review the following:

  • Preview your scheduler: Use the test and preview option to verify the customer-facing booking experience, including questions and job type selection.

  • Review settings: Check your advanced settings such as payment method collection, booking preferences, and time slot configuration.

FAQ

Will I lose my current settings?

No. Job types, availability, and configuration all carry over. For questions, reach out to your CSM or Support.

Is there any cost?

No. Scheduling Pro Free is included at no additional cost, this is a platform upgrade, not a purchase.

What if I prefer Web Scheduler 2.0?

Web Scheduler 2.0 will be deprecated completely in September 2026. Scheduling Pro Free is designed to exceed it in every way.

What is Scheduling Pro Premium?

Premium unlocks SMS lead recovery, automated follow-ups, advanced routing, full reporting, and more. Ask your CSM or Support for details.

Do I need to update my web page with the new scheduler code snippet?

No, you do not need to update your current Web Scheduler 2.0 code snippet.
