# Integrate your phones during onboarding

## Overview

Integrate your phones with ServiceTitan to automatically track and record each incoming phone call. If the ServiceTitan Telecom team was informed that you want to integrate your phones with ServiceTitan, you'll see an *Integrate your phones* task on the *Onboarding Dashboard*. The task leads you through a series of steps for completing your phone integration. After setting up phone integration, every incoming call to your office is automatically tracked and recorded, pulling up customer details and linking calls to booked jobs. All of your advertised numbers, regardless of where or how they are advertised, become tracking numbers in ServiceTitan.

#### Who uses this feature

- Administrators who are onboarding to ServiceTitan
- Account configuration is required to use this feature. To update your account, please email [port@servicetitan.com](mailto:port@servicetitan.com) for details.

## Things to know

- The Integrate your phones task can be accessed only during ServiceTitan onboarding.
- You need to have your *forward-to phone numbers* before starting this task, which are the unadvertised numbers that incoming customer calls are forwarded to. You can have multiple forward-to numbers or just one. Reach out to [port@servicetitan.com](mailto:port@servicetitan.com) if you have any questions about forward-to phone numbers.

## Get started on the Onboarding Dashboard

Complete the *Integrate your phones* task from the Onboarding Dashboard.

To get started:

1. 2. Do one of the following:
  1. If you're using double forwarding to integrate your phones, go to [Set up phone integration with double forwarding](/construction/docs/integrate-your-phones-during-onboarding#set-up-phone-integration-with-double-forwarding) in the next section.
  2. If you're porting your phones to ServiceTitan, go to [Port your phone numbers to ServiceTitan](/construction/docs/integrate-your-phones-during-onboarding#port-your-phone-numbers-to-servicetitan).

## Set up phone integration with double forwarding

Setting up double forwarding allows inbound calls to go from your phone provider to ServiceTitan. ServiceTitan then captures the information needed for tracking and forwards calls to your phone provider.

Follow the series of steps to set up phone integration with double forwarding. When you're done with a step, click **Next** to continue.

> **Note:** Before onboarding, make sure to set up a phone integration method—*Double-Forward* or *Porting to ServiceTitan*. The task on your Onboarding Dashboard is set up for the integration method that you chose.

The selection you make on this screen for the number of phone numbers used in your ads determines the next series of steps:

- If you use 25 numbers or fewer, click **No** and enter your phone numbers manually.
- If you use more than 25 numbers, click **Yes** and upload your phone numbers.

## Port your phone numbers to ServiceTitan

When you port your numbers to ServiceTitan, inbound calls hit ServiceTitan first before being single forwarded to your phone provider.

Follow the series of steps to set up phone integration with porting. When you're done with a step, click **Next** to continue.
