# How to make discounts editable in the ServiceTitan Mobile App?

## Problem

Technicians currently can't edit discounts on mobile; a pricebook item with a negative price solves this.

## Solution

1. Go to the navigation bar and click **Pricebook**
2. In the *Services* screen opens, click **+Add Service**.
3. Name the new item *Discount.*
4. Enter a **negative value** in the price field, *for example, -50*. This will function as a discount when added to an invoice or estimate.
5. Assign the [category](/construction/docs/create-and-manage-categories-and-subcategories-in-pricebook) for this item.
6. Make sure the *General Ledger (GL)* mapping for this service item matches that of other Discounts and Fees.
7. Click **Save** to add the service to your *Pricebook*.

In ServiceTitan Mobile, technicians can now add the newly created *Discount* service item to estimates or invoices.

The price of this item is editable directly from the mobile device, giving technicians the flexibility to adjust discounts as needed in the field.
