Go to the Inventory section in ServiceTitan. 2. Click the **Vendors** tab. 3. Find the vendor you wish to deactivate, click **Edit** to update vendor. 4. On the edit vendor screen, to the right of "*Vendor Details*" turn off the **Active** toggle to deactivate the vendor. To edit a vendor: 1. Go to the Inventory section in ServiceTitan. 2. Click the **Vendors** tab. 3. Find the vendor you wish to edit, and add an extra character to their name. 4. Click the **Save** button. 5. After the property is saved, go back to the edit mode for the vendor and remove the extra character that you've added to the vendor name. > [!NOTE] > **Note:** If you receive the *Action canceled - Object reference not set to an instance of an object* error message when attempting to add information to a vendor, try adding an extra character to their name and saving the information. Then, go back and remove the extra character from the vendor name. You have successfully deactivated a vendor and edited a vendor in ServiceTitan's Inventory system.
