# How do I remove filters when exporting a report as PDF?

## Problem

PDF exports include filter information at the top of the report. You don't want to include this in the export, but aren't sure how to do that.

## Solution

### Workflow Summary

Export your report to Excel first. Then convert the Excel file to PDF.

1. Go to the report you want to export.
2. Set up your filters as needed, then click **Run Report**.
3. When the report loads, click **Export**.
4. Select **XLSX** format instead of PDF, then click **Export**. The report downloads to your computer.
5. Open the Excel file on your computer.
6. Click the **File** menu, then select **Export**.
7. Choose **Create PDF/XPS**, and follow the remaining steps to create the PDF.
8. When finished, the report will display as a PDF without any of the filter information.
