# How do I make forms mandatory in ServiceTitan?

## Problem

Technicians can select the *Fill out later* option on required forms and still close jobs without completing them.

## Solution

Follow the steps below to solve the issue.

### Manage form triggers

1. 2. In the side panel, click **Operations > Forms**.
3. 4. 5. Select the **Required** option if not already selected.
6. Select the trigger event for mandatory completion.
7. 8. Save your changes.

### Set up completion alerts

1. 2. In the side panel, click **Integrations > Alerts.**
3. Click **Add Alert.**
4. Search for *Completed Form* in the **Type** field.
5. Select the specific form from the dropdown.
6. 7. Save the alert settings.

### Prevent automatic form emails

1. 2. In the side panel, click **Operations > Forms**.
3. Find your form and click **Edit**.
4.
