# How do I handle accidentally released pay periods in ServiceTitan?

## Problem

HR accidentally sent the wrong pay period to an employee and now it's in a pending status. There is no way to "un-release" the pay period.

## Solution

It's unlikely to cause a problem. You can update the timesheet at the end of the week.

1. At the end of the current week, go to the **Payroll Dashboard**.
2. Click **View Actions** for the pending timesheet that was accidentally released.
3. Click **Update Now**.
4. Inform the employee that they can now review and approve their timesheet as it should be correct.
