# How can I remove duplicate membership service items?

## Problem

A [membership service item](/v1/docs/memberships-concepts#membership-pricebook-service-items)—such as a [*sale task*, *Renewal task*, or *Billing task*](/v1/docs/memberships-glossary#tasks)—appears under a category in Mobile Preview when it should not be there.

## Solution

Unwanted membership services appear because they exist in **Pricebook > Services**. Deactivate them to remove them from Mobile Preview.

### Locate and deactivate the membership service

1. Go to the navigation bar and click **Pricebook**.
2. In the side panel, go to **Services**.
3. Find the membership service item.

> **Tip:** Check if you have any filters active that might hide services.
4. 5. Click **Mobile View** and confirm that the correct membership service appears in the category.
