# How can I prevent automatic confirmations from being sent out on unassigned Schedule Engine jobs?

## Problem

Automatic confirmations are being sent for jobs that are still unassigned, specifically Schedule Engine jobs.

## Solution

Follow the steps below to stop automated confirmations from being sent for unassigned Schedule Engine jobs.

### Workflows to Resolution

1. 2. In the side panel, go to **Communications > Customer Notifications**.
3. Click **Reminder Notifications**
4. Click the **Automated Job Confirmations (via text)** tab.
5. Turn off the toggle for **Enable automated job confirmations** to disable notifications.
6. Click **Save**.

> **Note:** If you don't want to disable all automated job confirmations, you can click the **Settings** tab to exclude only certain business units (BUs) and/or job types.
