# Edit pre-built transfer types

## Problem

There is no edit button available for pre-built transfer types

## Solution

### Edit pre-built transfer types

Pre-built transfer types are not editable. This is by design to maintain system integrity. The workaround is to [create a new transfer type](/construction/docs/set-up-transfer-types#set-up-a-transfer-type).
