# Edit payroll legal terms

## Overview

You can customize the legal terms employees agree to when signing off on their payroll and timesheets at the end of each pay period.

## Edit payroll legal terms

When employees approve their payroll and timesheets in ServiceTitan Mobile, they sign off on the legal terms for that pay period. Administrators can edit and overwrite the default legal verbiage:

1. 2. In the side panel, go to **People** **> Payroll**.
3. 4. Edit the text as needed.

> **Tip:** To restore the default approval language, click **Revert to the original**.
5. When you’re done, click **Save**.
