# Create multiple project opportunities

## Overview

When you have multiple trades linked to a single project, you can create multiple project opportunities so you can easily distinguish the work for each trade in a project.

> **Note:** A project opportunity can have more than one estimate.

## Create project opportunities

1. Go to the navigation bar and click the **search** icon.
2. Click the **What do you want to search for?** dropdown, select **Project**, and click the **search** icon.
3. Click the project to which you want to add an additional project opportunity.
4. > [!NOTE]
> **Note:** *Build an estimate* appears on your project only if you haven't created any project opportunities for your project. After you add your first estimate and a project opportunity is created, *Build an estimate option* is no longer there.
5. To add additional project opportunities, click **Add another**.
6. Select an estimate template or click build a new estimate. The calculation of actual costs (labor, materials, overhead) against revenue for each job to determine true profitability.

**What it does:** Shows which job types, technicians, or BUs are truly profitable after accounting for all costs, not just top-line revenue.
