# Can a technician add materials directly from a warehouse instead of their truck using ServiceTitan Mobile?

## Problem

Technicians can't add materials from a warehouse using the ServiceTitan Mobile app.

## Solution

Changing the inventory location to a warehouse is not possible directly through the app. The office must manually update the inventory location on the invoice.

### Updating inventory location to a warehouse on an invoice

1. In ServiceTitan, open the invoice that needs material from the warehouse.
2. Manually update the inventory location to the warehouse.
3. When finished, click **Save**.

> **Note:** Technicians cannot update the inventory location for items themselves; this must be done by the office.
