# Basic Phones - Emergency Fallback not automatically enabled

## Problem

The emergency fallback option for Basic Phones is not automatically enabled, and you have to do it manually.

## Solution

The emergency fallback option for Basic Phones is not automatically enabled, so you must enable it manually.

To enable emergency fallback:

1. In ServiceTitan, go to **Settings** ![A simple icon representing a settings gear. ](https://cdn.document360.io/961862ab-d0f2-4d91-bb62-a62ee8184eff/Images/Documentation/icon-gnav-settings-inactive.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-10-31T01%3A35%3A55Z&se=2026-10-31T02%3A35%3A55Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=7XyU8yIPByfKbK381FroEdTfXwucUsFdM10Sp%2BqYhhM%3D) **> Phones > Emergency Fallback**.
2. Click **Add Number** to add your emergency fallback numbers.
3. Once numbers have been added, use the toggle to **Enable Fallback**.
