The two numbers don't seem to match, which makes it look like the project isn't fully billed. ## **Why this happens** There is 1 common reason. **Reason 1** **The line item's amount isn't evenly divisible by its unit price, leaving a rounding difference.** The item can reach 100% complete in quantity while a small price difference remains due to rounding, which leaves a balance to finish. When this happens, ServiceTitan flags the affected row with a warning icon and shows the remaining amount in the **Balance to Finish** column. This appears only when you view the Continuation Sheet in **Price (USD)** view. ## **How to fix it** ### **1****Resolve the rounding difference on the Continuation Sheet** Use this if a row shows 100% completion but still carries a balance to finish. 1. Open the project, then open the **Application for Payment** and its **Continuation Sheet**. 2. Click the **Price (USD)** tab. 3. Look for rows with a warning icon and a small amount in the **Balance to Finish** column. (Hover over the warning icon to see which items in the group are affected.) 4. Click **Edit** on the affected row to open the **Description of Work Items**. 5. Enable the **Edit by Price** toggle. 6. For each affected item, click **Adjust Price**. The item total adjusts to 100% in price, resolving the rounding difference. 7. Click **Save**. > [!NOTE] > **✓ Done ·** The line item is at 100% in both quantity and price, the balance to finish is cleared, and the generated invoice matches the Application for Payment. ## **Still not working?** Contact ServiceTitan Technical Support at [**go.servicetitan.com/ask**](https://go.servicetitan.com/ask) with: - The project number and the Application for Payment involved - The balance to finish amount and the completion percentage shown - A screenshot of the Continuation Sheet in Price (USD) view showing the warning icon and Balance to Finish - Whether you already tried Adjust Price on the affected row - Which checks from this article you already tried ## **Want to learn more?** [**Complete Application for Payment and Continuation Sheet ›**](https://help.servicetitan.com/construction/docs/complete-application-for-payment-and-continuation-sheet) Walkthrough of completing an Application for Payment and its Continuation Sheet.
