# Adjust the cost of materials with fractions of pennies

## Problem

ServiceTitan rounds costs to two decimal places. This can make your PO total higher or lower than the actual cost.

## Solution

### Adjust the cost of materials with fractions of pennies

Identify the item with a cost that includes fractions of pennies. This issue usually happens with specific items, not all.

1. In the main menu, click on **Pricebook**
2. In the menu on the left side, click on **Materials**
3. Search for the material that requires updating.
4. Click on the *More* icon on the right side of the material row and click on **View/Edit Material**
5. In the vendor list at the bottom of the page, adjust the price in the *Cost* column to the rounded amount.

This ensures your PO total is accurate moving forward. Existing PO's that are in *Sent* or *Pending* status will need to be [edited](/v1/docs/edit-copy-and-cancel-a-purchase-order-from-the-office#edit-a-purchase-order).
