Problem
You want to know how to set up automatic billing runs for service agreements. You also want to know if you can change a service agreement's billing schedule after it has been activated.
Solution
Create automatic billing rules
Go to the navigation bar and click Accounting.
From the Invoicing screen, click Recurring Billing.
In the side panel, click Automatic Billing Rules.
In the Create a Rule tab of the Automatic Billing Rules section, enter the necessary details to set up the automatic billing rule.

Change the billing schedule after activation
You can change the billing schedule on an active service agreement without recreating it:
Go to the customer record and click Service Agreements on the side.
Select the active service agreement you want to update.
From the service agreement, click More
at the top then select Edit Duration and Billing Schedule.In the Billing Schedule section, click the dropdown and select the billing schedule you want—for example, change Quarterly to Monthly.
When finished, click Save.
