Problem
Users need to set a fixed discount within 30 days, up to a certain amount. The system does not support a single discount with a variable range.
Solution
Set a fixed amount for your discount.
Note: Depending on your account's configuration, you might see one or more of the following:
Items and Pricing instead of Pricebook.
Customer instead of Homeowner.
Procurement instead of Inventory.
The names are different, but everything works the same way. For more, see Commercial Personalization Platform - FAQ.
Create a fixed-rate discount
In ServiceTitan, go to the navigation bar and click Pricebook.
In the side panel, select Discounts & Fees.
Click Add Discount or Fee to create a new discount.
Choose a fixed amount for the discount, for example, set $20, $50, or $100.
Name each discount. This helps technicians choose the right one.
Save each discount.
Train your technicians. Explain how to select the correct discount.
Repeat steps 4 to 8 to create multiple discounts. This covers different costs.
Note: You can't create one discount that adjusts from $0 to $1000. You must create separate discounts for each fixed amount.
